Cobblestone Owner Slow at Repairs
April 2, 2008 by newyorkoutdoors
Maintaining a cobblestone building is a challenging task. Refurbishing one that has fallen into disrepair is a daunting task. A new owner of the cobblestone buildings at the corner of Route 251 and Strong Road in Victor is being asked to speed up the process: Victor homestead restorer told to get ’er done
This home is shown as a shadow house on the map on page 90 in Cobblestone Quest. It’s in the vicinity of Tour 9 which winds through Pittsford, Mendon and Victor, showing off 22 wonderful examples of cobblestone buildings. As a shadow house, this one in question wasn’t good enough or unique enough to warrent inclusion in a tour, but is in the vacinity covered by the maps.
