Stewart Park & Reserve - Orange County

Stewart Park & Reserve is a unique habitat for wildlife. It serves as a public hunting cooperative, a multi-recreational area for hiking, biking, horseback riding and other passive uses in Orange County.
Even as trails are being updated and marked at Stewart State Forest, biker Jeff Montanye has written a book, “Stewart State Forest: Stewart Airport Buffer Lands Handbook for Mountain Bikers, Hikers and Horseback Riders.” Montanye, a Bullville resident and avid mountain biker, has worked on this illustrated volume for several years.
