Do you like to meet new people who ride bicycles?
I know some avid bikers who are members of an internet organization of bicycle riders and kindred souls who offer a place to sleep and a shower to touring riders. They have met the most interesting people, the youngest was 19 and the oldest was 68. They riders came from Germany, Alaska, China and Maine. They are mostly two at a time, but occasionally they meet the solo rider. Some are nearing the end of their ride and have stories of the road to tell, others are just starting and just need a place to rest and get set for the open road.
As touring riders, they have also taken advantage of the hospitality of other members of Warmshower.org and have always been offered a hot meal, hot shower, and a pleasant place to pitch a tent. If you’re into bike touring, try joining. I hope you have as much fun and meet as many interesting people as my friends have.
