Looking at these brought smiles to my face and a flood of memories:
- hiking at Braddock Bay Raptor Research Trail and seeing a sleeping saw-whet owl on a tree branch at my eye level
-doing research for our “200 Waterfalls” book: and visiting the beauty of Havanna Glen Falls
-petting an Alpaca on a hike with Pack, Paddle, Ski - the best adventure tour guide around!
-kayaking in the shallows and creeks of the Finger Lakes
-watching flocks of turkeys cross a field while I was hiking
-downhill skiing at Bristol Mountain
I never saw the Aurora Borealis quite this stong, however. Thanks Life in the Finger Lakes Magazine.
