Sun lotions are good, but as an outdoor adventurer, I often have a problem with sweating them off. I gave up using sun screen on my Appalachian Trail thru-hike. It rolled off with the sweat & who can reapply every few hours. Still UV rays are a serious problem. And those of us who play in the sun are at risk. Here’s another option.
UVSkinz manufactures UV protective clothing for the entire family (sizes 6m to 4XL) and make it a top priority to provide the most fun, fashionable and affordable sun protection around! Their products carry a UPF rating of 50+, which blocks over 98% of the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays (whereas most sunscreens don’t even touch the UVA rays).
Most people don’t realize that over 1.3 million cases of skin cancer will be diagnosed this year; 1 in 5 Americans. Or that one severe sunburn as a child more than doubles the risk of getting skin cancer as an adult. 95% of skin cancers are preventable! As outdoor adventurers, we need all the protection we can get. http://uvskinz.com/

Wouldn’t rash guards do the same thing? Most have UV protection… You can find ones that don’t go around the neck..
What the heck is a rash guard??
