New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has a new tool to help plan a trip to the 2,500 miles of recreational trails managed by DEC throughout New York. DEC’s Mapping Gateway allows you to find trails for hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, skiing, snowmobiling and disabled access by using Google Maps or Google Earth.
