Don’t stay in the house just because fall and winter are quickly approaching. Come out and join the Paths, Peaks, Paddles crew for a Tuesday evening hike. The hike is FREE. The Conservation Trail is mostly paved (bike paths) that we are hiking on Tuesday evenings. Hikes average approximately 5 miles each Tuesday. We started out in Pembroke and are working our way to the Rainbow Bridge the terminus of the Conservation Trail. If/when snow hits the snowshoe hike is FREE. Rental of any gear is always an option. When snow hits and we can begin snowshoeing we will come off The Conversation Trail and venture off to local parks and trails to snowshoe.
We hike/snowshoe every Tuesday evening. These hikes are weather dependent. We will hike in anything except rain! We will hike approximately 5 miles each night along The Conservation Trail until snow hits. Once we have snow your Tuesday evening hike runs about 2 -3 miles.
Our evening starts at Paths, Peaks & Paddles facility (1000 Ellicott Creek Rd Tonawanda, NY) at 5:55pm SHARP. We car pool to our hiking destination. On an average night we are done with our hike around 9:00pm.
Dress for the weather, bring water, hiking poles if you desire. Hiking poles are available for rent. When snow hits you are welcome to rent snowshoes and poles.
