A disc golf course is being constructed nearby the natural and scenic Eternal Flames Falls in Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park. The course is being constructed in an area many consider to being environmentally sensitive and will ultimately cause the demise of one of western NY’s wonders. Please read the article posted in the Buffalo News and consider adding your name to the on-line petition protesting the construction.
Eternal Flame Falls
If you’ve never visited Eternal Flame Falls, please add it to your bucket list. Natural gas seeps from the layers of shale behind the waterfall and you can light it and watch flames dance behind the wall of water. It’s a truly unique experience.
