Mayor Gerald Jennings has announced the reopening of the Basic Creek Reservoir to shoreline fishing, hiking and bird watching. The 265 acre City of Albany reservoir, located in the Town of Westerlo, was closed following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Opening day is set for Friday, June 20.
