Skunk Odor Cure

Java Joe recounted a tale of how his dog recently got sprayed by a skunk along the Finger Lakes Trail. Then he passed along this recipe (from John AX Morris) for a skunk odor cure which he said was fantastic - ahhh, the voice of experience!
-1 quart hydrogen peroxide
-1/4 cup baking soda
-1 tablespoon dish detergent.

Trail maintenance along the Finger Lakes Trail in the Western Catskills has been problematic at times. Volunteers Are Needed to help maintain the trail.

People have reported seeing bears:
- on the Binghamton University campus
- in the middle of the town of Vestal
- in downtown Ithaca
- at a private residence on Ringwood Rd in Ithaca, not to far from Yellow Barn State [...]
