An easement in the woods at the Finger Lakes Community College East Hill Campus in Naples now officially links the Bristol Hills branch of the Finger Lakes Trail to the main trail. The college announced Tuesday that the FLCC Foundation, a private not-for-profit that supports Finger Lakes Community College, donated an easement at East Hill Campus in Naples to the Finger Lakes Trail, along with owners of neighboring properties, David and Amy Vangellow and Theresa Brayman.
The three easements ensure a permanent link from the Bristol Hills branch of the Finger Lakes Trail to the main trail. The Bristol Hills branch crosses the High Tor Wildlife Management Area, about 6,100 acres of state land in Ontario and Yates counties.
